Project MUS-E: another year of art and inclusion has come to an end.
Last week, the second year of the three-year MUS-E project came to a close. The project involved elementary school students from the D.E. Smaldone Comprehensive Institute in Angri and the Sarno Episcopio Comprehensive Institute in Sarno. The first year of the project, which extended from the current school year to the secondary school of the “Sarno Episcopio” Institute, has also successfully concluded.
MUS-E is an initiative promoted by the Mus-e Italia ETS Foundation and funded by La Doria. The initiative aims to bring children closer to art through creative workshops held during school hours. This year, about 200 children were guided by professional artists through creative workshops dedicated to ceramics, theater, body movement, and clowning. Through art, the project aims to stimulate creativity, foster inclusion, and promote the personal development of children, offering them expressive tools that are not always accessible to everyone.
The workshops will resume at the beginning of the next school year, continuing a path that represents La Doria’s concrete commitment to community growth and territorial enhancement, with special attention to the youngest children.
