La Doria honored by UNHCR for refugee integration for third consecutive year
La Doria is among the 227 companies awarded in Italy by UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency – for its concrete contribution to the labor integration of refugee people. This recognition is a source of pride for us, because it confirms the value of our daily commitment to build an increasingly inclusive work environment.
The ceremony took place in Rome, during the official event “Welcome. Working for refugee integration 2024,” in the presence of institutional representatives and companies committed to the program. As a testament to our commitment, Oumarou Habobou Jabba, a refugee recently inducted into our workforce, who is now an active part of our team, also participated.
The “Welcome” logo awarded by UNHCR certifies the commitment of companies that offer real job placement opportunities to refugees and holders of international protection. To date, LA DORIA has included about 20 people in its workforce through this project.
