- Revenues up 3.9% year-on-year

Angri (SA), 30 May 2025 – The Shareholders’ Meeting of La Doria S.p.A., a leading European supplier of Italian speciality shelf-stable private label products, including, amongst others, tomatoes, ready-to-use sauces and canned pulses – has approved the separate financial statements and presented the consolidated financial statements as of and for the year ended 31 December 2024.
In a complex economic and geopolitical context, La Doria recorded revenues of €1.277 billion, up 3.9% compared to the previous year. This figure reflects the expanded scope of consolidation resulting from recent acquisitions, which contributed to the Group’s income statement only in the final quarter of 2024. During the year, La Doria completed two major transactions, acquiring two prominent players in the Italian food industry: Clas S.p.A., a leading Italian manufacturer of ambient pestos, and the business unit of Pastificio Di Martino & F.lli S.p.A. focused on the production and marketing of private label dry pasta. This unit was subsequently incorporated into La Doria Pasta PL S.r.l., marking the Group’s entry into dry pasta production – a segment previously limited to commercial distribution. More recently, in 2025, La Doria also acquired the historic Italian company Pasta Lensi S.r.l., further strengthening its footprint in the pasta market.
“In 2024, we further consolidated our market position across our core sectors and officially entered the dry pasta market as a producer – a strategic move that opens up significant growth opportunities both in Italy and abroad. Our 2024 results are the outcome of a strategy focused on resilience, product quality, and strong partnerships. Despite a challenging backdrop, we continued to invest in efficiency, sustainability, and innovation to lay the foundation for the Group’s long-term development,” said Antonio Ferraioli, Chairman and CEO of La Doria.
Breaking down revenue by product category, the “Ready-to-use sauces line” posted a significant increase, partly driven by the Clas acquisition. Conversely, the “Vegetables line” and “Tomatoes line” saw a decline, the latter due to reduced production stemming from a limited supply of fresh tomatoes during the 2023 processing season. The “Fruit juices and beverages line” remained broadly stable, while “Other lines” – consisting of products not directly processed by the Group but marketed in the UK by its subsidiary LDH La Doria Ltd – showed a slight increase.
As for revenue by brand type, private labels – the Group’s core business – accounted for 93.3% of total sales in 2024. Geographically, revenues increased both in international markets (+3%), which represented 83.7% of total sales, and in the domestic Italian market, which grew by 8.9%. The United Kingdom remains the Group’s top market, followed by Italy. Other key European markets include Germany and the Scandinavian countries, while key non-European markets include Australia, Japan, and the United States.
“In 2024, La Doria celebrated 70 years of history, passion, and commitment – with the awareness that every achievement is just the beginning of a new journey. Looking ahead, we are mindful of the challenges that lie before us, especially in light of ongoing geopolitical and trade tensions, but we remain confident in our ability to adapt to evolving scenarios and changing market conditions,” Antonio Ferraioli concluded.
