La Doria is part of AG 4 Future Food, the acceleration programme kicking off today – realised by Venture Incubator dpixel – which aims to identify and support the growth of start-ups for the development of innovative, economically sustainable, accessible and efficient solutions and technologies within the international food supply chain. The programme aims to identify and nurture teams with impact-conscious innovations and technologies that will provide the most appropriate tools to address the challenges that await us in the coming decades: population growth (+10 billion by 2050), diversification in per capita food consumption, climate change, food waste, ecological inefficiency, malnutrition and scarcity of natural resources. The areas of focus are: innovative foods, biotechnology applied to agriculture, automation and robotics, data management and logistics.
